Mieczysław Janowski Actor, among others, of the Theatre of Grotowski. During an 8-year-long co-operation with the theatre, he played in:

Christopher Marlowe’s,
“Akropolis” , Wyspiański’s,
“The Hamlet Study”, after William Shakespeare/Stanisław Wyspiański,
“The Constant Prince
”, after Calderon/Słowacki,
He also participated in rehearsals of Słowacki’s “Samuel Zborowski.”.

After leaving the theatre, Janowski received a one year scholarship in Paris from the French Ministry of Culture.
In 1999 he was honoured for his entire artistic work with the Golden Order of Merit by the President of Poland, Aleksander Kwaśniewski.
